Vintage Selmer Paris SSS Super Series Alto Saxophone 1933
This is a one owner saxophone owned by a professional musician. He retired in 1985 and the instrument has not been played since, other than to be cleaned, it was eventually passed onto his family. Does not come with the original case, but I have it – it is in very rough condition. (If you are interested, please let us know. We also have the tray pack clarinet case but it is being included with the sale of a Vintage Buffet Clarinet.) This saxophone was refinished at some point, lacquer is not original – engravings are not crisp. Pearls are very worn down, but original. Pads will need to be changed for this to be gig ready. Mechanically it is in very good condition, considering the age. Nothing broken or missing.
