Vintage 1970 Selmer Paris Mark VI Alto Saxophone – Serial #180616

This 1970 Selmer Mark VI alto sax does play OK as is. It plays very through the range until low C. To restore it to peak performance, it will need some professional servicing. It has not been serviced in over 15 years. From what we derived, it will need an octave pad, low D# pad, some adjusts on the octave mechanism which was a little stiff. Fresh corks/felts. There is also a small indentation on the neck which is photographed but does not affect the saxophones playing. The saxophone is missing the neck tenon screw, the previous has a portion of it broken off inside the screw receiver. We have a replacement screw. We will include it with the saxophone. Our tech is about 3 months out on doing the work so we are selling this as is. It’s a great sax and in awesome condition for its age. (56 years) please see pictures for details and feel free to ask questions or request more pictures. A few small dings on the bow, also photographed.
